For December’s Hometown Hero, we are spotlighting teacher Derek Fischer and Student/Miami Dolphins Fan Connor Yeager!
These two bond daily over this NFL team, but Connor isn’t his student and Mr. Fischer knew nothing about the Dolphins! He simply wanted to build a greater connection with Conner, a senior with autism who regularly stops into Fischer’s classroom to talk about the team!
