For August’s Hometown Hero, we are spotlighting Chris Williams from Monrovia, In! To honor their late son Tyler Williams, the Williams family worked to create a playground at the Monrovia Ball Fields! After 5 years of raising $40,000 thru donations and golf outings, the Williams Family and 20 community members assembled the playground in a day!
With the Playground built, The Williams are now looking to raise funding to create a Scholarship for Monrovia Seniors in Tyler’s honor. You can help by visiting https://www.tylerjosephwilliams.org/.
